Market data also showed that BlackRock added 9,452 BTC and over 84,000 ETH last week. These figures pointed to net accumulation rather than large-scale liquidation.
ETF Holdings and Market Positioning
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) continued to grow its holdings. The firm clients recorded fresh crypto purchases on April 24, Friday, according to reported ETF flow data. The data shows that clients bought $22.88 million worth of Bitcoin and $24.54 million worth of Ethereum during the session.
This activity translates into 294.686 BTC added at an average price near $77,642 per Bitcoin. Ethereum purchases reached 10,566.7 ETH at an average price close to $2,322 per ETH. ETF holding data linked to BlackRock’s $IBIT product shows total Bitcoin holdings of 812,276.1798 BTC, valued at about $64.33 billion.
Ethereum exposure through $ETHA and $ETHB products shows combined holdings of 34,34,633.5086 ETH, valued at approximately $8.24 billion. Staking activity also appears in the reported figures, with BlackRock-related Ethereum staking recorded at 185,586.1004 ETH, valued near $445 million.
