Ethereum accumulation activity linked to BitMine and investor Tom Lee has drawn attention after large staking and wallet transfers were reported over the past 24 hours. Data shared by market trackers shows continued movement of ETH into staking systems while Ethereum trades near the $2,331 level with mild daily gains.
BitMine expands Ethereum staking and accumulation activity
BitMine has added large amounts of Ethereum to its staking positions within the last 24 hours. Reports indicate that about 152,280 ETH, valued near $353 million, was staked during the period. Another transaction of 100,000 ETH, worth around $234 million, was also recorded as part of accumulation activity linked to newly created wallets.
“”The transfers appear connected to BitGo custody flows, but direct confirmation remains unclear”” according to on-chain observers tracking wallet movements. Three newly created wallets reportedly received 100,000 ETH, valued at about $233.7 million, which has raised attention among blockchain analysts monitoring treasury activity.
BitMine’s total Ethereum holdings and staking exposure are also reported at 3,587,821 ETH, valued near $8.35 billion. Around 72.1% of these holdings are now placed into yield-generating staking systems. The activity suggests continued movement of assets from custody wallets into staking contracts.
On-chain tracking activity and Ethereum market position
However, Arkham data shows additional staking movements involving BitMine, reporting about $170 million in ETH staked within a single session. The same tracking source also noted a total of $178.42 million in ETH staked during a separate transaction earlier in the day. Combined staking flows over 24 hours are estimated at $354.53 million.
“”Will BitMine stake everything they own?”” was noted in tracking commentary, reflecting uncertainty around the full scope of wallet allocation.
The reported flows continue to be monitored as part of institutional Ethereum activity, especially as custody transfers move through BitGo-linked addresses.
As of time of writing Ethereum was trading at $2,320, with a 24-hour trading volume above $16 billion. The price recorded a 0.48% increase during the same period. Market activity remains tied to broader liquidity movement as large holders adjust staking positions and custody balances across multiple wallets.
